Please join us for a timely and informative meeting on the City's existing Benchmarking standard and the new Building Energy Performance Standard. These standards are a vital component of the City's Climate Action Plan (CAP) and its commitment to sustainability through energy transparency and energy reduction. The standards apply to commercial and multi-family buildings 50,000-SF and larger.
We are pleased to present these knowledgeable speakers and their topics:
- An update on the existing Columbus Benchmarking ordinance by Eric Porr, Management Analyst (Energy Efficient Buidlings, City of Columbus
- An introduction to the new Columbus Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) by Cassie Johnson, Buildings and Energy Coordinator with Sustainable Columbus / Columbus Water & Power
- An overview of products and strategies to mitigate energy consumption and meet BEPS targets, focusing on the traditional Ventilation Rate Procedure (VRP) vs. Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP), by Audrey Cash, CEO of GPS Air
We are privileged to have the new Columbus Water & Power HQ building as our venue for this meeting. The new building features many new HVAC, control and sustainability systems.
Happy Hour following the meeting at Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus, 161 N. High Street
We look forward to seeing you on September 24th for this informative session!
Sincerely,
Your OCCAEE Chapter Board
